1. Do you charge a rush/convenience fee?
An order is considered Rush if placed within 7 days prior to the reservation date. Rush orders will be accepted when possible and may incur a rush/convenience fee of $35, in addition to the cost of the order. The invoice on these order is due in full at time of order request.
3. How do I transport my cake?
The best way to transport your cake is on the floor of the car or the back, flat area of an SUV. Remember to drive carefully, and to avoid sharp stops and turns. Also remember to keep the temperature cool in the car and never leave the cake in a car that is not air-conditioned. Party Cakes is not responsible for the cake once it leaves our possession.
4. Do you offer cake tastings?
Yes we do! A cake tasting box of 6 cupcakes (traditional flavors) is available for $10. Order for the tasting box must be placed at least 1 week in advance. For weddings, see below.
5. Do you offer Wedding consultations?
Yes, I will gladly meet with you to discuss you wedding/grooms cake. Please visit our Calendly page to schedule a time and date, and let us know at that time if you would like to do a tasting. Tastings are an additional $15, but if the wedding order is place the fee is waived.
6. Do you charge a deposit?
There is a 50% non-refundable deposit due to place your cake order. Should you need to reschedule 48 hours notice is required as well as the new date. Party Cakes by Shevon cannot guarantee that the subsequent date will be available for your event. Deposits can be made, online, in person (by appt only), or over the phone.
7. What is your cancellation policy?
Should you cancel your cake order before full payment has been made, the deposit to hold your date is NON-REFUNDABLE.
Should you cancel your cake order after full payment has been made, your payments, less the cost of all supplies already purchased, expenses incurred, and the deposit for the date, will be returned to you as STORE CREDIT ONLY valid for one year starting from the date of cancellation. This credit can be used towards future custom orders only. (No cash refunds).
